Harassment Prevention Training Is Mandatory in California 2019 Deadline
California employers with five or more on payroll at any location must provide at least two hours of sexual harassment training to all supervisors and at least one hour to all other full-time, part-time and temporary employees. All employees must complete the training by January 1, 2020 and retrain every two years thereafter. See, What’s New in 2019-# Metoo and The Workplace (December, 2018).
Please contact one of our attorneys Tim Bowles, Cindy Bamforth or Helena Kobrin with any questions on these changes. Our office will continue to provide such California-mandated live interactive anti-harassment, -discrimination, and -retaliation training, including on-site seminars for flat fees. Contact email@example.com for more information and to schedule your seminar.
