Harassment Prevention Training – Schedule Now

November 2017 Sex Harassment Training Seminar:

 
California law requires California employers with 50 or more employees or independent contractors to provide mandatory sexual harassment prevention and investigation training to their supervisors every two years. Newly hired supervisors who have not otherwise received this training during the preceding two year period or individuals who are promoted to supervisors must be trained within six months.

Without this mandatory training, you may be increasing your risk of incurring an expensive lawsuit. As noted in the California Department of Fair Employment & Housing’s 2016 annual report, sex-based, retaliation, and disability grievances top the 2016 list, together comprising 59% of the total charges filed.

Our harassment prevention seminar includes a live PowerPoint covering examples of harassment and workplace bullying, printed materials, videos demonstrating unlawful and lawful conduct, and a session-ending investigatory scenario in which all participants can demonstrate their knowledge of the fundamental training topics in this critical field.

We deliver our live interactive seminar in two ways:

  • At your location: For larger companies, we can provide an on-site seminar at your place of business for a flat fee.
  • Scheduled location: We are providing a seminar on Friday, November 3, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Pasadena Senior Center, 85 East Holly Street, Pasadena, California 91103. The fee is $65 per attendee, seats secured by advance reservation.
