CALIFORNIA INCREASES THE MINIMUM HOURLY RATE FOR LICENSED PHYSICIANS AND SURGEONS TO QUALIFY FOR OVERTIME EXEMPTION

California Labor Code section 515.6 exempts certain licensed physicians and surgeons from overtime compensation.  The criteria includes set minimum compensation.
