Employers must know their legal rights and obligations. We thus encourage our clients to implement policies and practices consistent with the current California and federal employment laws. In addition to daily consultation with management on a wide range of workplace issues, we deliver seminars on critical employment topics including sex discrimination, harassment and retaliation. These include an annual all-day presentation of employment law basics for business owners, administrators and personnel managers.
We also offer individual seminars at client locations for manager and worker awareness on employment issues. Employer and employee are each better protected by written workplace policies and forms for applicant screening, training, terminations and a broad range of other issues. Thus, we have developed – and periodically revise to match the changing law – a template “soup-to-nuts” employee handbook that can be customized to a client company’s needs as well as a package of common hire-to-fire forms and policies.
